Yea, I just dont get the constant hype they seem to get every year and then end up with 3-4 losses or more.

Because ESPeniS isn't quite delusional enough to hype teams like Ole Miss, Kentucky, Vandy, SCar, Mrs. State, Florida, and Tennessee.

They've been in the top ten of recruiting for almost a decade, and they're a lot like us; athletic at every position. The past five or so years, they haven't been able to find a consistent running game and end up with a lot of third and longs (and subsequently third and outs). Defense on the field a lot = tired defense in the third and fourth quarter = lots of points given up at the end of the game.

A big problem (IMO) is that the talent in Florida is often overrated; guise that are probably 3 stars are bumped up simply because of their location instead actual football talent.

Ah I see. Good recruiting is always helpful but if you cant develop the players, it doesnt do much good. I just think of Nebraska the one year under Callahan (fucking bastard can go to hell) when we had a top 5 recruiting class and team sucked ass. It was bc they couldnt develop them at all.

They've been similar to us in the past five years (with less to show for it). Lots of NFL talent that doesn't quite pan out in college, but seems to be drafted nonetheless.

Recuiting rankings are often flawed. It is always interesting how the stars a players has change once they have committed. Seems like if they committ to certain schools, they seem to gain a star and committ to not certain schools, they go down.
