Ballboy, have you been keeping up with this whole Spurrier - Ron Morris thing? Is Spurrier thin skinned or what? Or is it justifiable?

well ............... ?

what's your take on it?

Spurrier went off on him, he was really worked up in the radio interview. Morris went over the line in a previous interview, comparing putting C Shaw into the game (UAB) with the Penn St situation (despite the fact CS was cleared by the docs). At least he (RM) apologized for that.

IMO, they have both gone too far. Morris has gone to 'grudge mode' against Spurrier, and is not acting ethically (he has said some shit that was flat untrue). Spurrier is from old Southern stock, and feels like his name has been slandered (he used that exact same terminology) - his Inner Skynyrd is talkin' a little. But the greater part of the blame lies with Morris, imo - he's just stirring it up to sell papers.

Here is the spurrier interview.

this is all I could think the whole time I was reading the articles. It's his job to sell papers. And this plays right into RM's hands. CONTROVERSY.
