The last day off during a homesstand did not go well

The last day off during a home stand was followed by a 3-game shellacking at the bats/arms of the Los Angeles Anaheim California Disneyland Angels. The bullpen was mostly guilty for those three defeats and now we have Benoit out there. But the whole team has to bear the responsibility. Hopefully we get a better result this time. After all it's the fucking Twins. How hard can it be?

Stop it. The Mariners are red hot right now and we need to enjoy this because a patented 10 game losing streak to destroy a season is doable at any moment with this franchise.

Mariners have the 2nd best record by win % in the AL (or at least they did before whatever other teams did last night) and the Twins have the worst record in the MLB. Cano has more HRs than the Twins have wins.

But this is baseball -- round ball on a round bat -- and it really doesn't take a whole lot for the bad teams to beat the good ones on any given day. Still should handle these guys though, especially with Felix on the mound tonight. Set the tone for a great weekend, hopefully.

They got swept in a series at home after an off day? Again? Maybe it's a fluke. I understand losing the first game. They were probably all still hung over from their barbecue get together at Cano's palace. But losing the second and third game? What's up with that.

Next off day during a home stand is June 27th. Then they have a 2-game series with the Pirates. If they couldn't beat the Angels or Twins after an off day at home, I wonder how badly the Pirates will pummel them?

Thankfully this next one of June 27th will be the last one this season.
