Not really. I was told on numerous occasions by the OP that the current cavs are still better than the current Lakers.

And as the Lakers are now amongst the favorites in Vegas to win the title, the Cavs must be favorites too, right?

Everyone acknowledged that was a possibilty last year given the state of the West and the Laker roster.

Let's see who they add in free agency before annointing them as potential champs or disappointments.

Still though, with LeBron and AD it would take some really bad injury luck or really bad chemistry for the Lakers to miss the playoffs.

There is reason to believe they wouldn't have maintained that. They just lost 9 of 10 with a healthy LeBron. I believe early in the season, rockets were the 14th seed and warriors were 8th. Nothing meant anything yet.

LeBron came back, declared playoff mode activation because he was perfectly healthy and ready to do his best, and proceeded to lose almost every single game lol

Here's the thing. Had the injury bug not hit the Lakers last year they would have made the playoffs.

They had lost their momentum from when they were the 4th seed.....and had many additional injuries that killed their season.....think they had the 3rd most games lost due to injury.....that's pretty bad.
