From what I've gathered, #LAKings were working on multiple deals to trade Richards over the weekend. Final one fell through late last night.
So I was listening to TSN radio and Ferraro was saying that it's possible that if he retires Philly is still stuck with the cap recapture penalties? Any way to figure this out? That would be fucking hilarious.

I really wish CapGeek was around so that we could actually figure out what would happen in different scenarios.
Do they put him on waivers just hoping someone takes him? Because if I'm not mistaken, burying him in the minors still gets the cap hit to LA and even retirement would still have them on the hook for a while, even if Philly is the one who gets the cap recapture penalty.
Just saw that he makes nearly 6m until 2020.
