He's a defensive end. How often is a DE making tackles in space like that? I couldn't give any less fucks about that play, and it quite literally has no bearing on his overall effectiveness in the game. We didn't bring Quinn in to play Safety.

I think you know what I mean. He is a hand-in-the-dirt 4-3 defensive end. Even at OLB, you'll rarely see them "on an island" in space. Dude is 6'4", 250 lbs. I hope I don't have to see him as the lone barrier between the endzone and say Kamara or some shit any time soon..

Floyd and Quinn will always be attached at the hip because of the circumstance of us choosing to go with Quinn over him. If Floyd outplays Quinn, there would (and should) be hell to pay.

Just kind of how it goes...Is that a point that needs to be made? If so, consider it made.

Always butthurt after a loss. But I'm still with you that Quinn isn't a bust or anything. He's playing fine. However, we have so many problems much much worse than him...and could those problems have been solved in an overall plus for our team by keeping Floyd and investing that Quinn money into our offense?
