You're right. It's the NHL's greatest "who's the best" contest since Gretzky and Lemieux. Can't just ignore it on a hockey board. Stamkos is looking to make it a three way race again (where are you, Malkin?) as the current league leader with 15 points (8 goals) in eight games. Crosby is tied at second with 11 points, and Ovie is "only" playing at a PPG pace with 8 points in 8 games. The Sedins are also hanging around the top.

Nothing wrong with picking a dog in the race.

Like to add that the severe lack of dickhead-type Pens fans on this board make Crosby's success infinitely more palatable to us Ovechkin fans. I used to feel pushed into rooting against him. Now I can just enjoy watching him play. The guy is amazing.
