The importance of this game.

3: One team will fall to 1-3 and many would expect that it would be us. We are comfortable being 1-3.
4: Giants with a big win last week. We had a very tough loss.
5: Injuries and a young QB vs a 2 time superbowl MVP who has owned us.

Time for a big change.
This game is about sending a message to the division. Don't expect to win at our home, ever again.

If you include the next two games that would be the toughest part of the schedule. At 1-5 the possibility of ending at 8-8 would seem a bit of a stretch. A loss on Thursday is clearly a must NOT!!! I really didn't expect a breakout year for this squad anyway, just more than the 3 wins that made last season such a grind.

As for the Giants for some reason I never hated them. I used up all my hate on the Eagles and Dallas, NY wasn't so bad. But all that changed with Mara's role in the cap penalty. Now they sit right behind the Eagle and ahead of Dallas on my list

It's a night game on national tv. That alone should have us worried.

Eli has had a few good games vs us, but we've also shut him down quite a few times as well. Hard to believe he's been their QB since 2004 (10 years? )

Manning is 13-6 vs us but his passing is average. 56% completion, more Ints(17) than TDs(16) and a rating of 74. Most of his 13 wins vs us have been due to us sucking the ass on defense, or our offense being feeble. Manning actually has a losing record vs the rest of the NFC East.
