Keenum is has had 1 good year, and many more that are not worth remembering. I would not say he is a sure bet.

The only way the Broncos don't go hard at QB in the draft is if they land Cousins. Even signing Keenum, expect them to go after a QB

I read that somewhere and I fully agree. It would be Keenum plus a rookie at 5 (or if they trade up or down a few spots).

I'm starting to like Darnold the most out of this class. I'm not sure how much the reports about Rosen's teammates not liking him are true, but his injury history so far does scare me a little. Especially, the concussions. Mayfield may not have the arm that others do, but he seems to have that "it" factor that can bring their play to the next level, especially when the game is on the line. I think I would rank them...

But they are all pretty close right now and I would trust Elway if he picked one of my "lower" rated guys at 5. I really don't want him to trade up, though. I just think the cost is going to be way too high when there are 4 guys closely rated. But, otoh, I couldn't blame him for going up to get his guy. In the next few weeks, teams are going to fall in love with a guy and the aggressive GMs are going to do what it takes to get their man. I can't fault that type of mentality and in the end, if their guy works out, it is well worth overpaying for.

I have concluded that Josh Rosen would be my pick if - the Broncos had to look to the draft for a QB. If they fail at Cousins - but sign Keenum - I don't think I would draft a QB at the 5 pick. I'd trade back with the Bills and get a QB later in Round 1 (I still like M. Randolph).

Please, Dear God.....just let the Broncos select a QB. Free agent, rookie or bridge guy. Just get it done. We can't go through another training camp of "competition" and certainly can't go through another regular season of mediocrity (I'm being nice).
