Sid is a play maker, and can score for sure...but man oh man he's at his best along the boards. He lives for that scrappy battle...and he's damn good at it. No stick, three defending, wins the battle.

BTW, in the second there was a really funny interchange you could hear over the ice mics. Pens send it down the boards, hits linesman skate, Cooke yells "F**K!", linesman "Sorry Matty..."

The ice mics have actually picked up a few of those noises. Kimmo made a really weird noise in the offensive zone that was picked up. It was like...a squeal. The Flyers broadcasters were laughing at him.

They've been at each other all night, and it seemed like there was a lot of chirping. I know it's part of the game, but I prefer a nice pass or a save over guys yelling profanities at each other.

You know, I'm actually happy with how that game played. It should teach the Pens a lesson. Get in a chippy powerplay-fest (1st period) with the Flyers, you get smoked. Play composed hockey (last 2 periods) and you dominate.

And, as always, nice to beat the Flyers. #FraudGiroux
