Kirk said that it was the most impressive thing in college football in his lifetime. He never said that one of the titles was not legit, they just said that it was a shared title. It was!!!!!

Nebraska was more dominant in their era but I do agree with Kirk that it is the most impressive thing in college football in my lifetime. With the scholarship limitations that exist today that didn't in the mid 90's, the amount of talent Alabama loses every year, the conference they play in, and not sharing the title with anyone in any of the years, it is more impressive than what Nebraska was able to accomplish in my opinion.

That doesn't mean anything is taken away from 60-3 and everything Nebraska did. It was freaking amazing!!!!!!

But then again I am probably completely wrong because Brasky says so and really, is there anything else that matters?

I just heard like 10 other analysts say it leading up to the game and following the game. Except they literally were just like "if you'll remember, Nebraska had the kicked pass for a TD against Missouri AND it was Tom Osborne's last season.....so their is definitely an asterix next to Nebraska's 3 out of 4."

I had the flu on Monday so I watched ESPNU's all day coverage that they had leading up to the game. Can't tell you how many times they brought it up.

If that bastard thinks an asterisk should be by our 1997 title, then FSUs 1993 title should have an asterisk also. They had one loss and WVU was undefeated and got robbed out of a chance to play for the title in 1993.
