As much as I dislike ND, I was pulling for them to win because I knew what would be said about Alabama and their so called best ever dynasty if they won.

I didn't watch the game....I was at work. Are you saying they had an asterisk for 97 for being split but didn't make the obvious distinction that Alabama had losses in two of their championship seasons????

That's exactly what they did. Went out of their way to down play the split title in 97' as if it weren't relevent.

I don't recall them once mentioning that the Huskers were undefeated all 3 years and 2 of Bama's seasons have losses.

Also, why the fuck does Urban Meyer get to actively recruit for Ohio St as an analyst at halftime? That is just wrong to give a university an advantage like that.
I've seen it done for other schools as well.

I don't know how far I'd read into it being hatred for Nebraska, but it is quite obvious that they were just dying to have a new great dynasty to be able to talk about. And while they had the chance, obviously they needed to make it sound better than any other dynasty in recent history.

They left no debate on the table. Just laid out the facts. The facts are Nebraska only won the 97 title because TO was the coach. That is what they like to tell themselves.
