If we can find out that 2 or 3 position prospects, other than Jung, are ready to come up to begin 2023, and find out that 2 or 3 pitching prospects are ready to come up to begin 2023, it will be a great year for the organization. If we are able to see that 3 or 4 other guys will most likely be ready at some point next season then this will be a phenomenal year for the organization.

Depending on who those prospects are, that fall into those categories above, we can pursue another free agent next offseason if we need to.

In the mean time, help for the bullpen is on the way this year. Leclerc and Hernandez will be back in a few weeks. Snyder and Robert could be here by then too. Chase Lee could even make a push to help out in the pen. Who knows, in 2 or 3 months Spencer Howard may become a great addition to the pen.

The pitcher we got from the Yankees actually looked better than most of our relievers so far.

Early returns from Friday night Apple TV.

ive seen lots of Mets fans criticize the quality of the announcing, but this is par for the course because Mets fans supposedly have the best or 2nd best broadcast crew in the league.

people did like the statistics that apple would post on the screen like chances of a strike out or whatever.

its worth noting that Friday night baseball on Apple TV is currently free and accessible to all. The rangers have a game on Apple tv next friday night against Oakland. I’ll probably check it out while it’s free, but I’m not going to pay when they go to subscription only.

To me it is a personal choice minus if a trainer rules him out. Either way is fine. Taking it bat by bat is not wrong nor is it being pulled after short ST
