Give the Ref a blow horn or something. A hand held siren, or something that stops the defense from almost ending Cousins' season.
Cox gets a free run at Cousins who has given himself up. We easily could have lost him with a shoulder injury on that play. You would think this kind of play could be corrected. Aikman said he does not blame Fletcher Cox for doing what he did, and he is probably right. If Cousins heard a whistle, then he needs to drop the ball or throw it away. He can't take that hit. He played his worst stretch of the game for the next few series after that "non play". I also wonder if that was a factor. I was very impressed with Kirk though.

Personally, I think the Baker hit was retaliation for that play. Maybe our defense heard the whistle. Not sure, but I would like to hear more about that. Baker's play was not smart, but sometimes the boys have to settle things themselves.

Baker's play was legit. Play was still on-going... #71 for Philly retaliated and cost Baker an ejection. The refs screwed us all day. The Robinson pass interference, really? Once again ST let us down.

I hated that call too. They make this emphasis on turning your head around, but the contact was bang bang, just as the ball arrived.

Cousins other time of lollygagging somewhat was in that preseason game vs Pittsburgh last year when he trotted out of bounds and got caught by the ankle, ending his preseason. He can't do those things. I am confident he will learn, especially with Gruden.

I was waiting for the flag on the second one too. Since the first one looked good I thought we would get called on the second one too

cox play was way more dirty than bakers play. seriously cox, out of 22 players you were the only one that didnt hear the whistle, im calling bullshit.
as for baker...
"I was doing what I was taught and that's to go get a block," Baker said. "I did not look to see if it was the quarterback. All I saw was someone going towards the ball and I got my head in front and lowered my shoulder, which is a legal football move, doing what I was taught to do and I get punched in my face on the sideline and next thing you know I'm ejected for a block."
Baker defended his hit on Foles and said he never threw a punch in the ensuing incident.
"The whistle had not been blown," Baker said. "[Foles] was going towards the ball. The ball carrier was taking a right and he could have made the tackle. I did not even really hit him hard. I just happened to hit him on his shoulder and he happened to fall. He's the quarterback and I guess that's why there was an ejection."

i myself didnt even know that the play was illegal. he took his penalty and that should be that. peters started every thing, suspend him if there is any suspension at all.

KC has to learn to throw the ball into the ground in that situation. Just kill the play. This is what vets do. The Ref also needs to come running in and stop the play instead of just blowing his whistle.

When the replay was shown aikman was surprised cousins did not blow out his shoulder.
If anything the ref needs a failing grade for this game for that play alone
