I have one, but my dad still won't golf with me anymore. Which is fine, he is really really good, I am really really not. Can't be fun for him to sit there for 30 minutes between shots while I swear and chase that stupid fucking ball all over the course.

I think the game is funner before you get really good. When you are first starting out, one great shot will make an entire round. When you've gotten better, one bad shot can ruin it

My dad really enjoys going with family, but he just sits back and watches. corrects swings and the like. No one he hangs out with is really on his level so I think it was not as fun anymore. He really seems to enjoy the teaching part....luckily he has 4 other sons and 2 daughters he will still go with.

There is a course in St Paul Minnesota named Maple Hills, 4th hole has water all down the right, there are a large number of my golf balls and a few of my clubs laying on the bottom of that little lake!

I broke most of mine learning to "swi ng easy"; which is, of course, terrible advice. You might go slower at the top of your swing, but if you are decelerating at contact, youre shanking it

Nos vs 500
Ritz vs Smitty
Mebert vs UK

I wanna get this set up as well...

I have to admit it's kind of a pain in the ass setting up these lineups.

Can ya'all just post your lineups in the team thread so I can just copy and paste.

I'm going to apologize to everyone in advance for my golf voting. I know how great Bobby Jones, Harry Vardon and Walter Hagen were, but most of the pre 1960 guys couldn't be more of a mystery to me.

And here I thought I needed to take all my guys who played in 1905, damn.

For me the real old time guys are harder to judge because of the level of competition...
