The fact the Cleveland Cavaliers made it to the finals this year should tell you something about what a tremendous player and talen Lebron James is and that perhaps the credibility that Spolestra has is undeserved.
A first year rookie NBA coach (who has not even served as an assistant in the NBA) is leading the Cavs to the playoffs with the likes of JR Smith, Iman, a hurt Irving, and some role players to the finals. Makes you wonder if anybody could have gotten the Big 3 to the finals the 4 years Lebron was here.
Yes - the Eastern conference was tougher in the first year of the Big 3, but not so sure that it was much stronger than the East today in the subsequent years.
Interested to hear if the finals and the Cavs appearance in the finals makes you guys appreciate Lebron more and Spolestra and the Heat from office less. Just curious.
