Still thinking only reason Folty is here is to protect innings count. I think once September hits all bets are off and some of the vets will be released

I hate to burn options if we plan on keeping Terry. But unless your DH is near near hitter on team I would rather use as a platoon for half days off for other position players

We have plenty of prospect options that would allow us to release Folty and several others we could rotate them between starting and bullpen to keep their innings down

Players on 40 man, so this is mostly what you're looking at for call ups, most of these guys have had a shot and not impressed (Benjamin, Palumbo, Solak, Tejeda, Tavares, Apostel) or are working their way back from injuries (Alexy, Burke, Huff)

And with minor league pitchers having lost 2020, they're definitely using kids gloves with them

I’m curious if we see a decent amount of trades during the off season. Starting to get deep with minor leaguers and needing 40 man roster spots to protect some and also some just need to be brought up.
