The DL needs depth

It was obvious the DL was getting tired by the 4th quarter. I've been pretty grumpy about the Niners not drafting DL the last few years; it's clear the need some fresh bodies in there...

I still have my fingers crossed the Niners pull up to Ngata's house this offseason with a dump truck full of ca$h to lure him over (if he doens't re-up by then).

I had called for Dobbs in the game thread... Was Dobbs suited? Did RJF see much action?

I agree the DL was getting tired... use them!!! especially Dobbs... good things can only happen!

Dobbs may be inactive most of the year pending injuries. You're going to see him come into training camp with more weight so he can do some damage against #1's next year.

I really wanted us to sign a second tier player to challenge Tuk when FA opened up, but it didn't work out that way.

I rather have Dobbs go out there and get NFL experience... there was a reason for me to want him on the team based on his preseason play. I wanted the guy to get a shot in being a good solid player for us.

I started this very topic a couple of weeks ago. We just have nobody behind our starters right now. Hopefully Dobbs can get healthy and make a contribution.

Because he's not a STs contributor, and our OLBs effectively play DE on passing downs. Still, probably not a bad idea to have six DL active on game days.
