The fans keep downplaying how much they want this win, but ULL wants it bad. They are even using a weekend rotation guy and tossing him tonight. LSU's guy may eventually be a weekend starter, but he is definately 4th at the moment.

I guess we need to change the name of this forum to the Jameis Winston forum, it seems that the only thing related to college baseball that ESPN seems to report is how many times Winston wipes his ass.

Seriously, there was a top 15 game today and did you see anything about it? No, all you hear is Jameis Winston playing the Yankees in a SCRIMMAGE. ULL took it from the Tigers tonight 4-1 in 5 1/3 innings due to rain delay. Not very happy, LSU came out lackadaisical and ULL wanted it more. With that being said LSU scored their run the inning before so possibly could have come back. ULL had some runners on but I think that was largely due to it beginning to monsoon for 10 minutes before finally pulling them off the field.

February 26 Schedule

UT(6-3) hosted UT-Pan American(5-4) and the Bronc's made the Longhorns work for the 2-1 victory. Felts hit a single to center field in the 11th to score Silvers for the game winner. No errors for either team and the Bronc's outhit Texas 10-4. Mark Payton hot bat went cold and he went 1-4 with 1 walk.
The Bronc's used 7 pitchers and the Longhorns 8. Nathan Thornhill(3-0) got the victory with 3 innings of work.

My Tigers are 6-1 going into the big showdown this weekend with the dirtpeckers. I don't think we're good enough to take 2, but I at least hope we don't get swept.

Houston College Classic
Texas(7-3) tops Rice(6-4) 2-0, both teams had 6 hits and Texas had the only error. Mark Payton's bat cooled off as he went 0-2 with 2 walks. Kacy Clemens(yep the son, playing 1st base) went 2-3 with a walk and a run. Tres Barrera went 1-3 with a run and a rbi. Brad Johnson went 2-3 with a rbi. Peters(1-0) go the win.

Houston(8-0) stomped Tech(8-2) 9-0.

Sam Houston State(9-1) beat TCU(6-3) 9-4.

The lineup for the 2015 Classic looks great. Looks like they traded out Texas for that other school.

I see #5 Oregon got dumped by #9 Cal Fullerton for their 1st loss of the season. #7 Oregon State is winning @ home and has a double header against Wright State @ Goss Stadium today.

Miss State continues to pile up wins. BASTARDS!

Y'all better win today, or it's broom city

yup. Last night's performance was embarrassing. 8 unearned runs, 5 errors (4 officially), 3 wild pitches, yadda yadda yadda. They looked like a bunch little leaguers. That and Leggett still can't seem to figure out when to make pitching changes. I was screaming for a change the inning before the grand slam. You could tell the kid's arm was getting tired. He was losing control of his breaking ball and leaving it out over the plate. His fast ball placement was off as well. He was putting it where he wanted, then started leaving them right out over the middle of the plate and Leggett just watched.


Frustrating, to say the least.
