going to repost this here to get more feedback....

so which format you like better? the single/double/single elimination format of the sect or the round robin pool format of the acct? how are the other power5 conferences(b1g,pac,big12) doing their tournaments?

Big 10 is Double Elimination until the championship game, then Bracket One plays Bracket Two in one championship game.

I prefer double elimination all the way through myself.

do all 12 schools play baseball? you think they will probably have to go to the single/double/single format next year with rutgers and maryland coming in?

Wisky had to cut baseball back in 1991 to make Title IX requirements. Only 8 teams qualify for the tournament.

I don't know how they'll handle the tourney format with the added teams?

The Big Ten follows the same format as the Big 12 ;-). I prefer double elimination throughout the entire tournament, including the finals. I State does not play baseball. K State who were the favorites to be repeat Champs finished last and did not make the playoffs.
Texas beat Tech on Wed 8-3 and surprisingly shutout O State 3-0 on Thursday. OU eliminated Tech and Baylor did the same to Kansas. TCU is the other undefeated team.

Watching BTN and just saw my first aluminum bat break. Michigan player broke a bat on a base hit against Iowa.

OSU eliminated OU 11-8 and Baylor eliminated WVU 9-4. Baylor faces undefeated TCU and OSU takes on undefeated Texas in today's games.

Lafayette had a late inning scare today but held off Texas Southern. Was looking like some lucky team was going to get the automatic bid.

TCU eliminated Baylor 4-1 and made it to the Finals of the Big 12 CCG. Texas lost to OSU 3-1 and they are playing an elimination game with OSU leading 3-1 in the 4th.

May 25 Schedule

Texas played a 3 game series with OSU in Austin earlier in the season winning 3-0 and losing 1-2 and 3-8. Texas played a 3 game series with OSU in OKC in the Big 12 Tourney, winning 3-0 and losing 1-3 and 4-6.
OSU and TCU meet for the CC this afternoon.

TCU won the Big 12 Tourney in dominating fashion. They won their opening game 8-5 over Baylor and then their pitchers proceeded to beat WVU 6-2, Baylor 4-1 and OSU 7-1 in the Final.

Yeah, Houston, Stillwater, and Nashville are the 3 toughest IMO. Anybody can come out of those. Have to go with the deepest pitching teams.
