They will not bring in a FA QB to "mentor" him, and they won't spend a high draft pick on him, either.

They might take a late round pick, but other than that, the Bengals will stick with Dalton.

Mike Vick is WAY BETTER than Josh Johnson! he would be an INSTANT upgrade and accuracy is BETTER than Josh's he has way more vet experience and that is what WE NEED PEOPLE! Yes his intermediate throws may lack but he will have the best OLINE IN HIS CAREER if he comes here...2 TE's (If Gresham goes Orson will be here) 2 RB's and a returning talented defense for any competent DC to come in and do some things!

I think it's just Marvin Lewis avoiding controversy and being political once more.

Dalton's job is only safe if they can't bring someone in, to not have insurance at #2 QB is almost like giving up. If your starting QB stays healthy in this league, you are very fortunate.
