Who said that? I think fans from team with 1 loss who fails to make the playoffs would feel like their season was a disappointment because they did not get a chance to make the playoffs.

Ummm no. While Alabama is all about playing for national championships and we joke around about that kind of stuff - I know very well what a bad season looks like and even while we lose to Oklahoma and such in bowl games, I don't get upset about it. Things can be much worse, and I'm grateful for the good times we have right now.

Alabama btw owns the record for most bowl appearances. And since you likely don't know, and I'm sure someone else will probably say it - Notre Dame might be a contender but they didn't accept bowl invites back in the day.

I agree with this. They really need a set criteria and how you can make the playoffs.

At this point it is a matter of opinion which is BS.

It's the only reason why Bama is ahead of TCU even though TCU has the better resume up to this point.

Basically the committee thinks that Bama is better based on their own opinion instead of going by what has happened on the field.

This system is really no better than the BS except that 2 additional teams will now have a chance to play for the title. Outside of that it is still the same garbage

Crazy thing Bama got lucky OSU wasn't allowed to play in a bowl game.

Im not saying OSU was better just stating Bama wouldn't be in the NCG if OSU was allowed in. SO in a way Bama got lucky.
