You should reinstate LogicMan, TF12. The Lakers rebuild is going a heck of a lot better than the Celtics rebuild. He loved to flaunt all those "assets" that Danny acquired. I wonder what he would say now?

But you have much less leverage when everyone knows you have to move the pieces.

... perhaps, but you can recoup some of that leverage by moving them on your own timetable and by generating a bidding war between suitors.

The real point is that if you possess talented guys who can play and who attract other teams, you can use surpluses to fill deficits elsewhere on the roster.

My dream job is rebuilding a pro sports team or managing an NFL draft. It would totally consume you.

... seems like a premature assessment, don't you think?

And Ainge has not lost any assets. Remember that when he traded for Ray Allen and Kevin Garnett in 2007, he used many young players whom he had already drafted and who had already gained NBA experience (Delonte West, Al Jefferson, Gerald Green, Ryan Gomes).

Things got sideways with him but he's welcome to come back. Are you in touch with him?

Celtics have one significant advantage over the Lakers in their rebuild…. they're in the Eastern Conference.

I think the Lakers core of young players looks more promising than the Celtics. I'm slightly biased though.

No. He's was a fun Celtics fan to banter back and forth with though going back to the SeeBS days.

Nine guards (they all suck).

No cap space.

An inept moron for a GM.

A little boy posing as head coach.

LOL @ the Boston Celtics for actually being the worst pro sports team in Boston. That, my friends, is quite an accomplishment. :L

The Boston Celtics as of Noon today (7/1/2015) are $20,000,000+ under the NBA Salary Cap.

I won't bother with the rest of this quote......waste of time arguing with people who are uninformed and brag about it.

...because it's true, Big Ken. That's why you won't respond. Because you got nothing. Nothing.
