Interesting comparison to Brees......
He has 13 completions but to only 3 different receivers (7 to Andre, 2 to Posey, 4 to Graham).
Luck by the way is 6/20 for 89 yards and has only completed his passes to 3 different receivers as well. His 1st completion (to Fleener) went for 44 yards. Since then he's gone 5/19 for 45 yards. Obviously his lack of an OL in this one is a big story, too.
David J. Chao (MD and former NFL team head physician):
Good sign on reports of pulse, blood pressure stable. Also Texans doctors would not allow Kubiak to sit up if life threatening.
Sitting up decreases blood flow to the brain and that is the first worry always. Latest on air report: he did not lose consciousness
All NFL sidelines are required to have Emergency Action Physicians. Full lifesaving equipment, meds, IVs, defibrillator and ambulance.
It's early, but if this keeps up the next few games is Schaub gone next year? Yates and Keenum?
I assume there are cap implications.
I think Schaub is gone regardless, his time in Houston is up. Keenum will get the start for the rest of the season and if he continues to play like this, there is no doubt that he enters next season as the clear starter.
Yates could stick around as a back up but IMO he's just not a starter.
Who would people rather have for the future going forward if you were FORCED to pick one - Keenum or Foles?
I'd take Keenum. And I'd EASILY take Keenum if you said Keenum is your QB and Kubiak is your coach or Foles is your QB and Kelly is your coach.
