If we go on the assumption that Shane Lowry won't win, and its a very real assumption because, let's face it, the Shane Lowry's of the world don't win the British Open, then Brooks Koepka is only three shots back with a real chance of winning.
Lowry also has the fact that he shot 63 today working against him because no one ever backs that up with anything close to that the following day. The pressure on him will be immense tomorrow and I suspect he'll cave like he did when he led the U.S. Open after the third round.
Koepka's got a shot, as does Fowler but Fowler is known as a Sunday choker as well so I don't give him as much of a shot. I don't like Fleetwood's record on Sundays nor do I like Holmes' either.
Lastly, the man that can stand up to the weather and gets a lucky bounce or two will take it. That's the randomness of this event that weakens its allure and its prestige. I'll be watching though.

A lot of guys off to shaky starts. Rahm opens with a double bogey. Stenson and Westwood leave the first hole with bogeys. Fowler gets a bad break and OB's his opening tee shot....now just hoping for only a bogey.....

Might actually be more possible to come back from that huge deficit as a number of players are imploding. It'd suck to see Lowry lose a lead like he had though.
