On the other hand, your daddy really does have no problem winning in Stoolwater, as your daddy from Austin is 7-1 at Boone Pickens since the Big 12 was formed.....

Texas just broke the team record for yards in a game......715. They are also up 56-7. Yeah, I'm not really all that concerned. We were losing for about a minute. 3 plays after NMSU scored, we scored. 15 plays, 5 TDs, just like that.

I thought this was a rather interesting.....

The last team to play NMSU (1-11 last season) was Texas State (4-8 last season) and was the last game of each teams respective 2012 season.

TS won the game 66-28.

TS had 528 total yards.

NMSU gave up an average of 39 points and 476 YPG last year.

Their SOS was 123 out of 124 teams.

Now, I'll give the UT D credit, because they did hold NMSU to 7 points, and NMSU scored 28 (all in the 2nd half) on TS, but I just find it interesting.

That is all.....

What is the point of this?

The last team to play Lousiana-Monroe was Ohio.

Ohio beat ULM by 31 on a neutral site.
Oklahoma beat ULM by 35 at home.

Ohio racked up 556 yards.
OU racked up 429 yards.

Now I'll give the OU D credit, because hey did hold ULM to 0 points, and ULM scored 14 (all in the 2nd half) on Ohio, but I just find it interesting.

I don't understand the need to break down beat-downs. It becomes silly.

It really doesn't matter if a team beat someone 35-3 or 42-14 or 65-20.

The stats and game analysis is meaningless in these blowout games.
