He only played the best game of his career
So, you believe he can't play a better game than he had in his, what, 7th game?
WTF was with the clown rating...it was a simple question...and I actually agree that it was the best game of his career...but he has something he can build off of...there's no need to be defensive about a simple question...He only played the best game of his career
As a frustrated Bears fan, I'll confirm that no doubt this was Fields best game to date. It was of course far from perfect, but I think a lot of folks saw the potential in this kid tonite. He's a gamer.Reading comprehension is not your friend.
Did I say this will be the best game he ever will play? I said this been the best game of his career. If you can find a better game so far in his career then go for it
Arm talent is there without a doubt. Still extremely young with limited experience. It's just reading defenses, quicker decision-making and honestly mechanics need to be tweaked for a quicker release imo. Maybe Chicago should try to improve the OL in the offseason too but that's just a thought.I missed the game and only saw an extended highlight package….but man some of those highlights were massively impressive. That roll left, throw across the body to the corner of the end zone is a play that almost no other QB in the league can make.
They tried this off-season, but both their oline draft picks went on IR before the season started. Borom just came back and Jenkins should be back soon.Arm talent is there without a doubt. Good analysis. Fields has all the makings of a star, but no doubt he needed to catch up to the speed of the game, which is always turned up several notches in the NFL vs college. He'll continue making the adjustments and continue adapting. And yes, our OL needs to protect him better. As Beengay just pointed out, we've been missing two lineman who we drafted this past Spring. Once they are completely healthy and under foot, we should have at the least better rotational depth to keep the line fresh.Arm talent is there without a doubt. Which was a very low-bar to clear. He only played the best game of his career
