Wow, where'd you find that one..lol
It's one of my old time favs. ..... I've saved it for yrs. The story behind is that yrs ago while I was a working stiff, part of my job was to check inhouse project statuses with the shop. The engineer who was running one of those jobs sent that one to me in his reply. ..... just stuck with me as a damn funny response. ......

So I figured Dad would have posted this, but since he didn't, we did another deal. I send Keenan Allen and TJ Edwards to Dad for the 1.12, the 3.1, and Rashaan Evans. Racking up more picks.

Guess you really like this draft class, 5 first-round picks and Lefty has gone in for depth at RB, WR and QB and when Schultz finds a home he'll have depth at TE also. He's going for the gold again.

Once again, it's more about not being able to compete in the short term against some of the teams in this league. There's no chance Keenan Allen will still be productive by the time I can since he's already 31 and showing signs of breaking down, so I'd rather have another 1st rounder. And yes I do really like this draft class as well. I think I have enough picks this year so I'm looking for future picks now for any of the assets I have left. And Schultz already found a home in Houston :)

Probably not the wisest move I've made with Allen reaching the 30+ milestone, but he's always been a steady producer when healthy. Hoping for another couple of yrs out of him with a return to full health. Besides, Bandit really needed the pick since he only had 4 -1st before the trade - :pound:

Yes, I've done a complete 180 over the past few months. Fully intended going the route that Bandit is headed with my team being a mess (at least in my book) - but opportunity has knocked in ways I just couldn't refuse. .....

Waivers are done the same in this league as they are in Old School, so all non-rookies will be available on waivers the Saturday after the NFL draft is over and waivers will clear on Tuesday night/Wednesday morning at which time all players will become free agents and you can pick anybody up you want until our rookie draft which will start Sunday night 5/7 at 6:00 pm. Rosters will expand to 30 until Labor Day when you will have to cut back down to 25. I'll send out a text letting everybody know how many cuts they need to make to make their picks just like every year. The rookie draft will be on Fantrax with a 24 hour clock again.

Scott send me one that made too much sense to turn down so I send the 2.2 and the 3.3 to him for David Montgomery and the 2.7.

is there a formal process to propose a rule change for the commissioner(s) to discuss amongst themselves for this league and Old School?

I'd like to change how the turnovers are calculated, instead of a straight -2 for fumbles and ints, -1 for fumble and -1 for fumble lost and -1 for int and -1 for a pick 6

I think we tweaked another league on the boards here similarly and I like that set up. No offense taken if the powers-that-be think this is a dumb idea.

well I don't think its a dumb idea, I've done many set up similarly. But I'm indifferent, either way is fine by me.

Personally I don't like -1 for any fumble because I don't think you should lose a point for fumbling and recovering it yourself which you would under that scenario. As for the interceptions, if a touchdown is worth 5 points for a quarterback then I don't think an interception being -2 is crazy. Quarterbacks score enough points and I don't think they need more of a scoring advantage. I wouldn't be opposed to an extra penalty for throwing a pick 6 though.
