MLS....come to STL!!!
I've long believed Cooks is the single most overated WR in the league
sucks he keeps proving you wrong every year, every team, every QB

I wouldn't say he's proven anything wrong since 2018sucks he keeps proving you wrong every year, every team, every QB
Obviously he just hasn't had Fields throwing him the ball yet - he accomplished something that Christian Hackenburg, Blake Bortles, Mitchell Trubisky and Nick Foles couldn't - make Allen Robinson irreverent.sucks he keeps proving you wrong every year, every team, every QB
Well I gave up on chasing wide receivers because this is the only league I've ever been in that trying to trade a running back for a wide receiver just hasn't worked at all. Like Scott said, I have the depth that it was worth the risk for McCaffery's upside. Now that Gallup is the clear #2 in Dallas and I traded for Allen Robinson it gave me a little flexibility at wide receiver and I still have the 1.9 to draft one with. And now I have McCaffery, Cook, Conner, Michael Carter, and Elijah Mitchell at running back, so there was no chance that Edmonds was ever going to be in my lineup unless there were several injuries.Well, that was a surprise - could be a very nice deal. .... and I thought you were chasing WRs - but what do I know - Treff's probably pissed since I know he was after him hard..
The pieces given may seem like spare parts and McCaffery is only 25 I think, but 2 straight seasons of injuries and you have to wonder if maybe he's done. This seems like a crossroad season for McCaffery, get hurt for the third season straight and he could be done or stay healthy and bounce back to his former greatness.Surprised more than pissed...but then again...I'm of the opinion that Edmonds isn't a real RB, and I've long believed Cooks is the single most overated WR in the league, so deal CMAC for the 10th pick and (at least in my opinion) roster filler crap? Yea, surprised
Well yeah, I mean, that's the only reason he was even tradeable to begin with, otherwise, no one prying him away for anything short of insanity. The pieces given may seem like spare parts and McCaffery is only 25 I think, but 2 straight seasons of injuries and you have to wonder if maybe he's done. Yep, seems @SmokingMonkey has convinced most everyone that WR's are more valuable than RB's. To some extent that is true with a longer shelf life plus the direction teams are going in the NFL with committees and emphasis on passing. I actually felt 'lucky' to get Mooney out of Wreck for a reasonable price. .... my how things have changed.Well I gave up on chasing wide receivers because this is the only league I've ever been in that trying to trade a running back for a wide receiver just hasn't worked at all. I take you sent a offer for CMac but got no feed back or counter or discussion of what he wanted. Then he trades him for what you consider cheap. That is what makes you want to scream.Well yeah, I mean, that's the only reason he was even tradeable to begin with, otherwise, no one prying him away for anything short of insanity.
Somewhat, although I did get feedback..feedback that claimed I had the best offer on the table and the only one he seriously was considering...and yes, i wouldnt offer what i had on the table for what he got, and yea, thats frustratingI take you sent a offer for CMac but got no feed back or counter or discussion of what he wanted. If Edmonds is ever in anyone's lineup, they're likely playing for next year's 1.1 anywaysthere was no chance that Edmonds was ever going to be in my lineup unless there were several injuries.
Very true - - and he'll last maybe 5 game before he falls apart. ...Well come on..honestly...Given the new Phins coaching staffs ties to SF, Mostert is obviously going to be given the job, and its very debatable as to whether Edmonds or Gaskins is going to be the #2
Probably, and given Edmonds history when having the opportunity to be "the guy", he'll follow suit 2-3 games laterVery true - - and he'll last maybe 5 game before he falls apart. ...
I certainly hope not. I have him in more than one league.Very true - - and he'll last maybe 5 game before he falls apart. ...
Stock in MIA RB's has been a crapshoot for yrs. .... but they do have a good game once in awhile. ...Probably, and given Edmonds history when having the opportunity to be "the guy", he'll follow suit 2-3 games later

I share your frustration with this. I would feel the exact same way if he had accepted your offer after getting nothing from him for weeks. I mean the offer he accepted from me has sat there for three weeks. And I sent him like five other offers one of them being Mitchell and Wilson with Cooks and Edmonds for McCaffery and his next year's 1st or Mitchell, Wilson, and Cooks for McCaffery and the 2.4. Basically there were all kinds of offers involving Mitchell, Edmonds, Cooks and a combination of picks and I never heard one peep out of him even though I have seen him multiple times and texted him multiple times about the trades. King of the World is bad about letting them sit there too. I pulled two offers I had to him after a month and a half. At least Wrecking Crew will just decline them immediately with no explanation. I'd rather have that than just have offers sit there forever.Well sure, which just adds to the point.
But, regardless..and we could debate the value on Edmonds or Cook all day long- beauty is the eye of the beholder or any other cliché one might like to use-, but that's not the point. It's the underlying issue of the dishonesty and being strung along for months, without a single, "I might be going in another direction".
The issue of my valuation being he just traded an elite RB for Cook, a really low percentage lottery ticket and borderline waiver fodder, only multiples the frustration, but it's not the big issue. I myself think Will Fuller will be a WR1 IF he lands on a team with a good QB, and I traded for him as such, twice, and that's my right to build the roster how i see fit, regardless of what any one thinks. He has that very same right and more power to him.
man..I'd have much rather took the shot at Mitchell than hitch a wagon to EdmondsI share your frustration with this.
