Gotta love long red lights. Offer sent

Alright I sent you one too.
You guys are making me think hard. ..... thinking perhaps we'll need to discuss via pm's. .... both are certainly in the ballpark but something seems to be missing for me to pull the trigger- not sure what exactly as yet but it'll come to me.

BTW - @TREFF - which anniversary ?

Very handsome offer just not what I'm looking for with this team ref notes (in OS hell yes). ....
Well if you've had me, Treff, and Scott take a shot at it and he's still on your team then I'm guessing that "consider moving" was more like a "I'll trade him if you send me a Footian offer, but otherwise he stays on my team."

Considering none of us are known for sending out inadequate offers, and we all shoot roughly the "best we can do" with that initial effort..I would have to agree :)

Froggy, yet not quite so froggy after all ;)

Love ya Lefty..hahha

Actually that's not it at all - - only one has put forth a consideration at what would then become a position of real need - wish that wasn't the case since all have been really strong offers. .... but if I get 'stuck' with Kupp, there are certainly worse things.

So does that mean you want to trade a wide receiver for a wide receiver? Or instead of including picks with a running back you'd rather have a running back and a wide receiver? Because I know you don't care about tight end and you didn't mention anything about wanting a quarterback.

I think I've answered all (and more) of those questions with each offer that was sent. More info or clarification will need to be via pm or text.

Well I certainly have no room to rib...I put Mahommes in the block a week + ago, and while I've only had one serious inquiry, and sent out 2 offers of my own (one of which is still out there on the table), he's still on my roster

Well, man there are some decisions that are just hard to make. I think maybe folks have gotten used to us just making the move and being done with it. ... I get the frustration, I get that way too, but sometimes it's tough to get something that fits - especially when you not sure yourself what exactly that is..

Me and Lefty did a tiny deal. I sent him Goff and the 3.05 for Huntley and the 3.03. I'm taking a small gamble on Huntley and his future outlook and Lefty got a bit more insurance at QB.

Nice deal Lefty
Well, it cost me any shot at any decent rook, but heck I just didn't see a WR I liked better at that pick. Higbee won't really be missed. ....

For those who missed it. I send Higbee and 2.3 to Wreck for Mooney and 3.7

Outside of a couple dark horses, I don't think the 2 3 has a shot at a decent rook...at least not one anyone currently projects to be good. Mooney might have a tough '22, as will all Bears, but his future is bright

It's all gonna depend on how Fields progresses and what the new staff does - but as their primary target, hopefully he gets enough catchable balls to maintain at least WR3 status with some upside to be more. ... certainly something Higbee doesn't have and perhaps the 15 best player in this yr draft.

I think a lot will depend on whether they draft a wide receiver. New regime's always scare me because they inherit guys and have nothing invested in them, so it will be a telltale sign if they draft a wide receiver on day 1 or 2 what they think of Mooney. He was a 5th round draft pick so they essentially have nothing invested in him. Oh yeah and Fields still sucks.
