So does that mean you want to trade a wide receiver for a wide receiver? Or instead of including picks with a running back you'd rather have a running back and a wide receiver? Because I know you don't care about tight end and you didn't mention anything about wanting a quarterback.

Well, man there are some decisions that are just hard to make. I think maybe folks have gotten used to us just making the move and being done with it. ... I get the frustration, I get that way too, but sometimes it's tough to get something that fits - especially when you not sure yourself what exactly that is..

Outside of a couple dark horses, I don't think the 2 3 has a shot at a decent rook...at least not one anyone currently projects to be good. Mooney might have a tough '22, as will all Bears, but his future is bright
It's all gonna depend on how Fields progresses and what the new staff does - but as their primary target, hopefully he gets enough catchable balls to maintain at least WR3 status with some upside to be more. ... certainly something Higbee doesn't have and perhaps the 15 best player in this yr draft.
I think a lot will depend on whether they draft a wide receiver. New regime's always scare me because they inherit guys and have nothing invested in them, so it will be a telltale sign if they draft a wide receiver on day 1 or 2 what they think of Mooney. He was a 5th round draft pick so they essentially have nothing invested in him. Oh yeah and Fields still sucks.
