i know you guys dont like Gallagher but he was on this on the pregame radio show and he cracked me up
He said 3 things are possibly happening with Zack
1) "he doesnt get it"
2) he's playing hurt ... skating looks off
3) "management ... since he got here have consistently kicked the kid in the jollies over and over again"
i agree with 1 and 3. I dont think hes playing hurt. I dont think he has the intelligence for the game at the big level, however how does he learn that on the 4th line and then in the box, then on the 2nd line then 4th, box, repeat.... sometimes 1st one mistake bench... etc etc etc
i know they want to have a meritocracy but he should get time with the sedins ... esp with Burrows hurt ... let him have an extended run ... Kesler and line 2 have picked it up ... and sedins can deal with a boat anchor with a short period of time ... afterall they played with Trenty Klatt
it really has to be an extended time as well. it cant be a couple mistakes and off. the team is not winning and off. put him in the spots to succeed to get the confidence and build his game. let the sedins teach that guy where to play.
talkin Kassian on the radio
BIG couple of games for him coming up ... hope he can muster something and make an impact in both ... show us something dammit !!! and yes Torts the sedins best 5v5 shift last night was when they lined up with Kassian
v Coilers - lets see if he can be a "disturbing player"
v Bruins - its why he is here
/do something Nuke!
C'mon jstew, why would they need him against the Bruins?
I'm just saying the Bruins always play within the rules and never ever play dirty. Just ask around you'll see.
