I know, but when you look at the score and the overall scope of the game there was more than just a difference in talent. They worked hard and got opportunities, but really didn't reap the benefits of that. I guess it's just frustration peaking at this point. Even without most of our team out there it's hard to not expect wins, and their work ethic isn't enough anymore, and that just sucks.

Honestly, he was the best player on the ice tonight. Ended up with 4 PIMs, but both calls were borderline awful, but he changed the entire powerplay up, made great passes, and even back checked.

I like the work by the Pens... a few mistakes... but some good experience for the young guys... new guys still learning the pens and the pens still learning the new guys...

Flower wasn't on his game, but he wasn't awful. The first goal certainly set the stage for the rest of the game though.

The Pens haven't won in regulation in 3 weeks.

It didn't help Fleury that Niskanen was a top 3 defenseman and the bottom three defensemen were Engelland, Lovejoy and Strait. I think those three might have one full year of NHL experience between them.

I also look for Neal and Kovalev to continue to impress (and in fact to impress more) as they get used to the system and develop some chemistry. We're going to see some initial growing pains with these guys, as well as with Niskanen, but I have a feeling it's really going to pay off.
