I do somewhat recall them having some close games... guess I missed those details in the end-game roundup. Do SEC folks figure them to compete for the title or are the usual suspects still more likely?

Return 17 starters from a 9-win team. Lost 4 games last season by a combined 17 points, and lead in games against Oklahoma and Alabama in the 4th Qtr.

People see this year as the year that Tennessee finally gets over the hump, but...we shall see.

People are expecting a huge jump because they were really young last yea, had a really good defense and the fact that Peterson is their coach. I see them better but with Oregon and Stanford in their division, I think it's going to be tough to pass those two up.
