Could you make up your mind? Are your rankings based on where you think they should be after that week or where they end up? If former, not sure how you nailed it on OSU last week as where they were ranked was easily justified.

No it wasn’t. Their mediocre play against Minnesota was obvious cause for concern.

"Cause for concern"? I guess a little, but under the circumstances they did fine. Road game...night....bad weather. And won going away. Might not want to think last year doesn't matter but think we all know it does, especially when only in week 1. OSU at anywhere from 3-6 was probably justifiable after week 1.

after week 2 I figured could be anywhere from 7-12.

Idgaf that Oklahoma got away with it. I feel vindicated by how close that game was and give props to Nebraska to keeping it within one TD in Norman and here’s the new AP top ten:

The way I see it is there shouldn’t be any one loss teams in the top ten at this point:

1-3) I’m fine with
4) Penn State - basically consider them 4-0 for beating the refs as well - great win against Auburn
5) Arkansas
6) Notre Dame
7) Sooners
8) BYU
9) Michigan State
10) Ole Miss

I’d probably drop Florida a couple spots more for losing at home even if it was against Bama and move an undefeated team to 10 - it could be Ole Miss - maybe Sparty or BYU

Is fair to wonder how that schedule got them all the way to 12 while, say, Maryland at 4-0 with a win over WVU was unranked? And, yes, Maryland did just get crushed by a top 5 team. We'll see if same happens to Ole Miss today and next week against Arkie. I could see them with a chance to beat Arkie....and, sure, cannot kill them if they lose today.

Well, that could be true. But BG has done something Bama, Auburn, AF, Arizona, Army, Arkansas, Navy, Ole Miss, Texas, Baylor, Okla St, GTech or Clemson never have. None of those teams have beat the Gophers. UMn's 14-0 vs those 13 teams. lol
