Winning on the road isn't going to be easy. I'm actually now more impressed with ND since they went and beat Pitt on the road and backed it up by beating L'Ville at home.

I think this conference will at a minimum get 10 teams in the tournament, but I think it may beat itself up over the course of the season that there may not be a #1 seed because of it.

1 intentional trip = 1 half
2 intentional trips = 1 game
3 intentional trip = 3 games

Maybe because he wasn't punished at all, when those incidents occurred? K hasn't handled the Allen situation well at all. Its also not like these incidents could be confused with being accidental. They are pretty blatant.

Allen has been suspended for one game for three separate tripping incidents. That is trash.

Would also like to mention that is coming from someone, who generally likes to see Duke and the other NC schools do well. I just don't think this situation has been handled well at all.

because he wasn't initially punished and continued to do it.. Sadly.. One game was not enough imo. I don't think he really learned much. Granted he no longer is the captain so that really hurt him.

Not to sound harsh redseat, but I have NEVER EVER heard of any player suffering a suspension from something that occurred LAST SEASON. Ever. Have you? If you have, then please inform me of when it happened and who served that suspension.

I haven't either. I'm just saying that is why I think one game wasn't enough. Happens all the time in the NFL. Look at players like Hardy, he gets more punishment because of his past. Allen wasn't really dealt with last year and the behavior continued.

I'm not defending Allen or Coach K. But what I'm hearing the fact that Duke is held to a higher standard than everyone else. Montrezl Harrell punched another player and served a ONE GAME suspension. That precedent was set. If tripping a guy is worse, then fine. But two of those acts happened LAST SEASON. Not here and now. Sorry, but there aren't any carry overs I've ever heard of, ever.

Another Cuse victory and John Gillon starting and playing the point has helped out a ton. 20 points and 11 assists. Not bad for a transfer from Colorado St. This is the kind of basketball I expected from this team. Hopefully they can do it on the road and the less minutes Coleman plays is good. What took so long for J.B. to figure this lineup out. I know Miami and Pitt may not be great but it's a start. Peace.

I've seen it. It's pretty weak IMHO. All eyes and heavy scrutiny will remain on every movement he makes and this is the way it will be from now until he is off the team or dies.
