Duke loses 5 starters with Carter going pro

I'm sure they will still somehow get voted favorites to win the ACC.

I'm not seeing it. Or I should say, I wouldn't vote them preseason #1 in the ACC. For starters even though they have the #1 recruiting class, I don't think individually the players coming in are better than Bagley, Carter, Trent Jr. etc. Plus they won't be starting a senior with loads of experience. Even though UNC loses Pinson and Berry, I'd still have them ranked better, with Maye, Williams and Johnson returning, plus a pretty good recruiting class in their own right. And I think I'd have UVA ahead as well.

I don't see it. Lose 3 of their top 4 leading scorers, bring in a recruit ranked outside of the top 150 and a decent grad transfer.

UNC releases the first schedule for 2018-2019. Pretty good slate of games. Interesting they open up with 2 away games at mid-major schools. Props to UNC for that, they seem to do that every so often.

They return their top 6 scorers, so it certainly wouldn't surprise me if Wofford won. They are probably the early favorites in the So Con next season.

Doral Moore is entering the NBA draft and hiring an agent. Danny Manning has been hurt by guys leaving before he probably thought they would. Wake was a potential tournament team IMO, now probably not.

One of the dumbest decisions I have ever seen. If Jahlil Okafor is about to get washed out of today's NBA, then Moore won't see a second there. There isn't a current NBA big man that is a decent comp for Moore.

This move also completely fucks his college coach, because Manning is done if he doesn't make it back to the NCAAT in 2019. Pretty sure the G-League could have waited one more year.

This may be the best thing in the long run, because DM can't make adjustments worth shit, and he's stubborn as hell. You can make a legitimate argument that DM is the third best coach in the Triad, behind UNCG's Wes Miller and High Point's Tubby Smith.

I had high hopes for DM, but his inability to keep his guys in school (outside of Collins, because he definitely should have gone pro) and unwillingness to make adjustments has been his undoing.
