I wonder if Bennett forced those guys to transfer last year, knowing they'd be better without them.
IMO, the only one that most likely was a starter was Shayok. Thompson wanted more playing time, which wasn't going to happen. I do think Reuter was probably forced out, simply because he couldn't cut it in the ACC.

FSU with an absolutely horrendous loss to Wake Forest 76-72. Noles go 11-20 from the line and lose by 4. FREE THROWS ARE FREE!

I also think they're a better team without Perrantes. The ball kind of died with him.

lmao, kenpom #94 beats kenpom #21

Nice win by Wake. May be a glimpse of the future next year with Hoard and Mucius enrolling into the program.

He was fine as a secondary guy but when Harris, Anderson and Brogden all graduated in consecutive years, he was forced into the leadership role that he really didn't want or feel comfortable being in in my opinion.

The transfer to Western Kentucky was just what Thompson needed. He's leading them in numerous categories and has them in contention for the regular season C-USA title.

I feel stupid as I don't remember why but what happened that they are down to 6?

The ncaa violations have them down a couple. Geno Smith transferred into SU and then quit just before ACC play. Mat Moyer is out for the season and Howard Washington has a lame ankle.

Game ended GTech 55, SU 51. That's about right. Tech is better than their record at the moment. They are not world beaters, but last night should have been expected.

Duke closes Krzyzewskiville amid flu concerns

DURHAM, N.C. -- Duke's famed Krzyzewskiville will be a ghost town for a while because of flu concerns.

School officials said Thursday that students in the makeshift tent village outside Cameron Indoor Stadium have received an indefinite grace period to leave and return to their dorms.

Larry Moneta, Duke's vice president for student affairs, said in a letter to parents that the school has "elected to take a cautious approach" but hopes to have Krzyzewskiville back to normal soon.

It's a tradition at Duke for students to camp out in tents to claim the best seats for the North Carolina game, which is on March 3. Unless a grace period has been announced, students must be present in the tents both day and night.

I can't blame a father for maximising his and his kids exposure. Networking is so important. Take a look at the Williams sisters and how far they have come with thier father pushing them every step of the way. I think Bell has taken a similar attitude in raising his kids. But he needs to move on and just be a support guy at this point in his life. Hit the beach or the gym. What ever floats his boat. But the JBA is .... well stupid.

I think LaVar Bell has lost his way thinking he's the one that pushes the buttons from here. He's the nobody in all of this. It's up to hids kids to raise to the top of their profession and if thier are opportunities that can spin off, that's where they can go if they like. The dad has no clue at this point.

btw....I haven't put any vcash on SU this year. They are too young and inconsistant. God knows what the young are going to do.

I do have a lot of hope looking towards the next couple of years.

But anyways. I finally put some down on the SU@VA game....taking VA and gave up the 5.5.

This team is incredibly overrated. Such a hit or miss when you keep bringing in 1 and done freshman
