We wouldn't be able to afford both Pau and Rondo.
Bazemore is a definite. Henry, Young, and possibly Farmar are the same.
not so sure about Xavier. nothing against him, but if we keep Bazemore he becomes something of a redundancy in my mind...

LALakersboy, I see you, CL67, and TJF12 all doing battle with the Heat Haters Club thread. I get a kick out reading the post by the three of you getting Heat fans' jimmies in a wad. Well the fun starts tonight.

Some of the talent is young and goes out a couple of years. If you remember, 18 years ago, we drafted Kobe and Kobe played limited minutes his first year. In fact, he was frustrated his first year because he didn't play as much as he wanted.
We need help everywhere. I think we'd be in a position to take the best player at almost any position. And even the position we do have covered, he's been around 18 years so we have to look beyond that position as well.
There was an article from Yahoo Sports this morning raving about the jumping ability of LaVine from UCLA I believe it was. The dude has a 46 on verticle and they had a picture of him skying. Alot of talent in that group you mentioned TJF12.
He had a step or two for this vertical jump test. It wasn't from a stand still. Obviously still incredible. LaVine has sick athleticism.
Sounds like Mitch would like to get another 1st rounder. No real assets other than the 7th pick. Not sure how he can do it.
It's funny TF12 how many people have said that there is no more appeal to going to the Lakers. That players don't care about the history. That players don't want to play with Kobe. This was all based on one player, Dwight Howard. A down season or two and all of sudden the Lakers franchise has lost its appeal? Simply not case.
Spoken from a guy who has spent a lot of time dealing with Heat fans. Battle-tested and have heard all of the remarks, eh TJF12?
Guess our only real suitor would have to be Phoenix. They hold 3 first rounders, (14, 18, and 27). The numbers match up for the 14th and 27th picks for our 7th. Is this a good deal?
Option A: Keep the 7th and get Vonleh/Smart;
Option B: Trade and get Stauskas/Ennis and Napier/Grant/Hairston.
Personally, I would rather have both Stauskas and Napier than just Vonleh or Smart.
