That's a fact Lakersrule!!!
Spoken from a guy who has spent a lot of time dealing with Heat fans. Battle-tested and have heard all of the remarks, eh TJF12?
Some rumors that could get "Exum to LA" fans excited. It was assumed that Orlando would pick Exum because they need a PG, but there's a growing belief that the Magic are very high on Marcus Smart. If Orlando takes Smart, that leaves Utah and Boston which both have PGs (Burke and Rondo), opening the possibility that Exum slips to LA at #7.
I wonder if Exum's agent will try playing the "don't draft him, he won't sign with you" card that Kobe played when the Lakers got him with the 13th pick.
Exum needs to force his way to the Lakers and learn from one of the greatest. He can either go to Los Angeles and learn from Kobe or go to Orlando and suck for years. I think I know which destination he prefers
If the Lakers do indeed choose B. Scott as the Lakers head coach and he lures Kyrie to the Lakers, what is the likelihood we then select Exum if he falls to us? It does boggle the mind.
The problem is, the lower you go in the draft, the higher the chance of landing guys who were very similar to players we had on our team last year. Guys similar to Xavier Henry. Fun to watch but won't lead us into the playoffs.
If we're going down that road we might as well look into the free agents and keep the 7th pick for a young, powerful PF

I don't see that scenario playing out. I think you have it backwards. Kyrie would have to be traded before the draft and the Cavs have no incentive to do so. He's a year away from restricted free agency. He can't go anywhere this year. And because he would be a "restricted" free agent in 2015, Cleveland can match any offer he gets, thus preventing him from leaving. All of that happens AFTER the draft, conceivably even a year after the draft.
FWIW, even if LA drafts Exum, it's not a deterrent from getting Irving at a later date. Exum is big enough to play 2-guard and some scouts actually believe he's more suited to be a 2-guard than PG anyway.
If the Lakers believe he's the best player left then he should be taken. Nothing wrong with having 2 combo guards.
He would certainly be the bpa at 7. I, for one, would take him #1 over Wiggins. If I'm wrong I'm wrong, but he is my highest draft grade.
Julius Randle will be working out with the Lakers today:

I like the guy. Very NBA ready and could be a good double-double guy for us. If we get Vonleh, good, we manage to get Exum even better but we have to remember he's basically a "free" player.
Same here shaqdaddy. However, I saw this awhile ago and not sure people have made mention of it or not. I saw some mocks where he's fallen some because of this.
