Well that sucks.....moving on it's either gonna be Vonleh or Randle imo

I hope not Randle. He is already fully developed so what he is now is what he will be in terms of body and atheism. He also has no defensive skills at all.

And Aaron Gordon has no skill what so ever.

Nothing wrong with Randle or Gordon. I'd take either one of them in a heartbeat. Both have All-Star potential

I like Randle. He is a beast inside. .

Actually, I think Randle has good upside. He is 6'9" with a 7 footers wingspan and I believe he's only 19. I think Randle or Vonleh would both be good.

I don't care about his religious views and think Randle being an atheist shouldn't make any difference.

Sorry hangman, couldn't pass on the opportunity to be a smartass!!:suds:

It looks like now Vonleh might move up to the 5th spot. :L

The top 7 IMO are

Wiggens
Parker
Embiid
Exum
Vonleh
Randle
Gordon

And this would be me if we get any of those guys:

Top 5 imo are pretty clearly:

1. Cavs - Joel Embiid
2. Bucks - Andrew Wiggins
3. Sixers - Jabari Parker
4. Magic - Noah Voneleh
5. Jazz - Dante Exum

In some order. Voneleh is the best rebounder in the class, is the 2nd youngest player and has lots of freakish measurables. For there, you are looking at Marcus Smart, Julius Randle and about a half a dozen 'freakish upside' guys that the Lakers won't pick because they wont contribute right away

I don't know Clayton. If we get a guy like Ryan Kelly in the second last year contributing right away like he did, I am not so sure we can't select a guy at 7 who can step in right away as well.

A LOT of mock drafts have us picking Marcus Smart. While I may not agree on picking a PG (as that would most likely mean Farmar won't be with us next year), it's nice to see this video:

Marcus Smart 2014 Scouting Report - YouTube

Very aggressive going to the rim, which I love in a PG

Its hard to say when you're talking about kids. I would probably say that Lakers pick comes down to Smart, Randle or LaVine unless one of the imo top 5 guys drops for some reason.

Really Shaqdaddy? You think Farmar who left a boatload of cash on the table in Europe would suddenly bolt because he get more money or he is odd-man out? I think the Lakers will re-sign Farmar because they are big on loyalty and Farmar had a decent year last year (when he wasn't injured that is).

Nash and Marshall are already on the book for next year though. If they were to pick Smart, why would they re-sign Farmar as the 4th PG?

I don't believe Marshall is on the books for next season.

Kobe
Nash
Scare

Are the only ones on the books for next season & we don't even know how Nash will plan out next season. We gotta have the PG position deep IMO in case of injuries again.

Replace Gordon and Randle with Smart and maybe McDermott

Marshall is on the books for next season. Young too, but he can opt out.

Yea, Marshall had the option they picked up before the season expired. And you are correct on Swaggy Hangman-as usual.
