I disagree. A super draft should a free for all the first time. Also it can get very confusing if it’s not

Because some people won't participate, I like hockey drafts far more than basketball, I'd rather we included tennis rather than basketball.

Remember we lag now in 18 - 24 player drafts after like round 10 what do you think is gonna happen if we are drafting 68 rounds.

Salary cap but that would be A LOT of work. Maybe the first super draft just needs to be a year restriction. A different year restriction for each sport though...

We can simplify the scoring by just doing the top 3 and bottom 3...

a bottom 3 negates a top 3...

and then we do playoffs from there from the teams that exist still...


so there will be a baseball winner, a football winner and a basketball winner...

We will be picking a NBA player every 5-6 rounds maybe more...I know the voting will make you pick NBA players but still...either make it a priority or throw the entire sport out entirely.

I don't see why 15 is a big deal.

But I do agree it shouldn't be a free-for-all...I just don't think it needs to be anything too complex.

Because we lag now once we get past 5 rounds in hoops, 10 rounds in baseball and 12 rounds in football, imagine the lag once we get to round 30 in a three sport draft where we are making 57 picks, your prediction about finishing next June wasn't that far off.

As to restrictions maybe base it upon years of birth or something. Ie no more than 2 players on your team to have been born in the same year.

I feel that for your guys first time it should be absolutely free for all...see this groups evaluation of the overall talent. Then add in stipulations next time.

Plus it makes it easier on the organizer to not have all the stips.

I agree it would be easier but I think we all know what players each other likes having drafted together for 5 years or more. I find free for all drafts extremely boring. We have done free for all drafts for each one of these sports on more than one occasion.
