Why did Detroit let him go? a team in absolute need of help, why lose their "best" man? cap?

His criminal history did match the qualifications? I mean, he's already 25, so he's had plenty of time and opportunity...

(Yes, I know this can be exaggerated and I don't know if he does have a history.)

It seems Harbaugh has a thing about not playing rookies full time which is why I see them being interested in Woodson as a one year stop gap while they groom the rookie to take over.

Since Harbaugh has been here his yet to start a rookie full time. I suppose you could argue Miller but like Hunter he only came in when the formation called for it. Other than that it's all been part time and rotational work.
