As to what to get to get your nieces for Christmas, a gift card/money would be nice. Yes, they're 6 or 7 but at that stage they probably have an idea of what they want.

I have a little 2 yr. old niece, myself. Such a little doll. I have 2 nephews and a niece, what life's all about for sure.

Oh, and I was about to suggest doing what my brother-in-law did for my kid when he was 7. Go to a discount candy store and fill a small plastic tote with a variety of different candies - and then leave the house before the sugar kicks in.
