I am a very big Stockton fan, grew up in Utah and I watched him a lot. I think to this day no athlete has maximized potential like he did. Can't put him 1 though. 3-5 seems like a safe spot, I have him 3 myself.

From what I can see, the most damaging thing to his career was peaking at the same time the Bulls juggernaut was going on. Which is not really on him so much.

Seriously, he is a great player. But I don’t like him for these mocks. You have to spend way too high of a pick for a non scorer who is average at defense( not a great athlete for his position)

He stayed in front of the super athletic point guard on defense, and it truly elite at picking off from the passing lanes.

I actually think he is ideal for these. Everyone can score in these, and Stockton was almost better than anyone at getting the ball to a player where he scored best.

With him you get a net plus on defense, and everyone on the floor with him os a better scorer because of how he runs an offense. Add in his very good 3 point shooting and he is a great add.

But that’s my point. Do you want to pay second round price to make your first round er look better?? Or do you want him to be an offensive force himself??

Curry is more of a SG/PG, to me. Like Harden and DWade. LeBron isn't a PG either. But I'd play him there if I had to.
