I think the other schedule has been proven fake. I would believe Schultz.
Getting a rookie in week 1 could be a good thing. There are no easy wins though, and sometimes these rookies come in and turn some heads.

I’ll be counting on our defense to be as good as advertised that week, and our offense to carry its weight. I think this is a winnable game in week 1.

The league seems to like to do this of putting a rookie QB on the road against a top looking defense. Nice thing for the Broncos is Ward likes to take chances. Could see the Broncos dropping into a lot of zone in this one and daring him to try and fit passes into tight windows.

Broncos got 5 Prime Time games when counting the London and Christmas game as 2 of them.

Saw something speculating that we were going to get Washington and Philly on the road in back to back weeks. I know Payton likes keeping the team on the east coast for those games, but those will be two tough road games if true. They did that last year with Tampa and NYJ, but those aren't the Commanders and Eagles, who are far more formidable.

If that is the case I'd rather Philly and then washington because I like the washington match up more and I dont want the time shift for that game and stay ti play Philly who I think won't be as close of a game

I'm okay with this if it's legit. First, if the Broncos are gonna get caught up in this international silliness then playing one of their East Coast opponents overseas makes sense. Doing it the week after playing another East Coast opponent actually makes sense too because it sort of helps mitigate the need for the bye immediately after their London trip. Drawing a non-AFC opponent after returning is helpful too. In fact, getting two non-conference games after that brutal two-week trip helps.

The one thing I wish was different (and I may feel differently after I've had a chance to let it all sink in) is I wish the week 16 game with the Jaguars was TNF. Then again, this version does have the Chiefs checking in with the Broncos after the Broncos have had a nice mini-bye.

If this is official, it is what it is, and I'd say we've seen worse. I may feel differently when I see what all their opponents schedules look like. For example if the Chiefs bye is week 10 I'll be pissed.

I also like it, mini bye going into a game VERSUS the chiefs is a big advantage, problem with that is LV might end up being a game we look over and we can't do that this year, other than that, no 3 game road stint so we like that. I'll be back with a fuller teenager analysis when the whole thing is official.
