Have to play through injuries. Garland the only one that had somewhat of a serious injury. Mobley and Hunter could have played through it.

Aaron Gordon just played through a grade 2 hammy that is a month long injury but these guys can’t play through a minor injury in a must win game
Or Mobley with a high ankle sprain and Hunter with dislocated thumb could have sat even longer.

Is it "next man up" or "should play through it" to cover up your lie?

Can you at least get that straight before we continue?

Mobley had a minor ankle sprain. He did not have a high ankle sprain so quit with your lies

As for Hunter no player should make a dislocated thumb stop them from playing a must win playoffs game

Mobley had more than a minor ankle issue and some did report as high ankle. Guessing guys have missed games for less as far as dislocated thumb. I've seen Magic pull a hammy, walk off a Finals court and not return. Next man up didn't work for them either.

So I see you switched to "should have played" over "next man up" to cover up your lie? OK...at least that's settled. Until you change up again.

Can only hope the team realizes he has become our best player and at minimum he needs 15-18 shots in a playoff game. Mitchell took more 3s than Mobley took shots in that series (granted, Mobley missed a game). Hell, Mobley shot better from 3 than Mitchell did overall. Criminal he did not get more looks.

Some of that is on Mobley. He needs to demand the ball. He reminds me of AD in that he's so good defensively that at times he will forget how good he is on offense and just concentrate on defense.

That's great when his teammates are hitting their shots...not so much when they aren't.

Some of that is on him, sure.....but he's far from the passive player he was on O his first couple seasons. He (and Allen) were dominant to start game 5 and build that huge lead then the guards just couldn't stop chucking and missing.

The soft narrative for this team is just lazy. Dumb/dumb plan? Maybe.

Next man up is more for the fans like yourself making excuses. They played 1 game without Garland. This series should have been longer imo

They had more than enough even with a hobbled Garland to beat Indy 4 of 7. Only game you would have been able to use the injury excuse for Garland a game 2 when 3 of their top 6 didn’t play and even after seeing how that game ended up, you can’t even use the injury excuse for that one. 7 point lead with what a minute left and you lose?

You know it's amazing what you can find on the int-er-a-nets these days.

"Mobley had a minor ankle sprain."

All I did was type in- how injured was Mobley during the Pacers series. This is what popped up. Word for word.

Mobley missed game two against the Pacers with a sprained left ankle. He was visibly limping after the injury in game one and was unable to put full weight on it before game two.

Seems to me his injury was legit. Mobley isn't the type of player to miss an important game like that for no reason.

Not saying his injury wasn’t legit. Saying you can’t treat injuries in the playoffs like the regular season. Got to try and push through especially in as close as you are going to get to a must win. Lose the first 2 at home and you are usually losing that series

That's lie number 2. They played 2 games without Garland. I mean, clearly the way Indiana defended us a healthy DG who can handle the ball would have been a big help (especially that last minute of game 2 as he's a guy who with his speed can get open on the OOB plays).

What excuse? It's a fact for last 2 seasons EVERY team Indiana has played that was missing players was not helped by next man up. Irnoically, nor was Indiana when they faced a healthy team with an injury to their guy and lost.

Possible if we keep this going you could stop lying?

and thinking if you cannot put much weight on an ankle more than a minor injury. But either way, it's silly of anyone to think he knows how hurt any athlete might be.

and yet guys have been missing games all over the league in the playoffs the last couple seasons and next man up often didn't work.

Just coincidence MN, Indiana, NY and OKC been among or the healthiest teams in the playoffs this year? Indiana, Boston, Dallas and MN last year in run to conference finals?

No he didn't have a minor ankle sprain. He couldn't even put weight on it the day of game he missed.

yeah he's really having a rough day and all over the place. This was after claiming Cavs did not lose any rotational players to injury in the playoffs.

It wasn’t an high ankle sprain either. Good luck finding anything where it said he suffered a high ankle sprain

I’m done with this debate. You guys think guys should only play when they are at 100% in the playoffs. I’m on the other side and will never agree with players not trying to push through certain injuries

wow....another lie by you, Tommy? No one said he has to be 100% to play. Guessing when these guys did play they were not 100%. Also absurd to ever think you know how hurt an athlete might be without ever even talking to that athlete let alone examining him.

you should regroup and start over....and, really, not much of a debate if you need multiple lies to try and make your case.
