So…

No 3 point line.

But you want the Elam ending?

This can’t be a real post by you. You get hacked?

From the alleged purist

Compared to the expanded lane

stupid af semi circle

3pt line

and

Advance the ball on a timeout

Playing to a certain number of points is normal for basketball

Those other things are total abominations

I could see Giannis in Brooklyn if Milwaukee blows it up. They have the draft capital and some young guys they could trade to land Giannis.

But, I could see Giannis staying if the Bucks come correct. He strikes me as the loyal type....

Did you misspell Los Angeles, don't all players wanna play there? :heh:

I have 2 main gripes about the lottery. The first is that it just invites more conspiracy theory bullshit. Because of the Donaghy scandal and the fact that even before that happened, there were people saying the league used refs to influence outcomes.
Those people were right.

Then the league got caught - the Donaghy scandal.

Ignore it though because the truth isn't comfortable.

The other issue I have is that it hasn't fixed the "tanking problem" that never really was a problem because it seems that most fans are good with their team tanking 2-4ish years to get better draft picks.
And if your GM and fans are in lock step and completely understand eachother and how to produce the longterm viability of a contending team then the league will orchestrate the destruction of that franchise and sale to a distressed asset financial fag from leon blacks team of funneling Soviet money to shady financial entities in the west leading to enough corruption in Ukraine to attempt world War 3.

You have to be more specific. Nobody chooses Clippers unless it's for a payday lol.

Lakers don't have trade assets left lol.

The lakers have knect a few swaps and like a 31 or 32 first??

Plus a lot of expiring deals

They could probably get KD or kyrie lol

Maybe MIP should be a starter?
I mean, seems like can make a better case for him than Cade.

One guy THE #1 pick and already really good (though hurt sometimes) and becomes even better. The other goes from afterthought....to hurt all season to one of the top backups in the sport?

But whatever.....rather win games than awards.

I didn't say a number one pick doesn't often help, it just isn't that much more important than any top 5 pick, which the worst record is guaranteed. Those teams that have shown significant improvement have all either had multiple high picks or significant trades around their picks, or both. Go back deeper in history and you will note more of it not always leading to great improvement.
Depends on the draft....Usually there is a consensus of who the top guys are (be it 1, 2, 3 or even more top guys). If it's a clear #1 or 2 obviouslt best to be at top.

Then along comes the lottery and now we have people saying the league rigs the lottery because, since it's a lottery, everything is done behind closed doors.

The other issue I have is that it hasn't fixed the "tanking problem" that never really was a problem because it seems that most fans are good with their team tanking 2-4ish years to get better draft picks.

The play in tournament has helped a little, imo. But even with that, teams still try to tank, it's just that as soon as they figure out that they're unlikely to finish in the bottom 5...they start trying to win again.
Your first concern is unfounded to anyone without that tinfoli hat. I mean, they are going to rig the lottery for the Cavs, SA, MN, NO, Portland (even though Oden didn't work out), etc?

It;s also nuts - and not saying you are doing this - to think it's rigged because it's behind closed doors. It's behind closed doors due to how the lottery works where they pick #1 team first. Pretty boring TV if that's how they did it. Just not seeing them rigging it and a guy like, say, Mark Cuban, saying "whatever is best for the league....."

agree with other comments.

You think lottery is fixed because ONE ref got caught? League wanted to help Cavs, MN, NO, Portland, Orlando, Memphis, SA, etc?

Who was the mastermind behind the fix and how did they get guys like Cuban to agree?

If you think it was only one ref I got a bridge in Brooklyn to sell you
