Simpler way might be inquiring about Charlotte’s potential interest in a Rozier reunion… They have a pair of expiring deals in Nurkic and Okogie that could give Miami some low-end value.

Nurkic serves no purpose here. He's not the type of C Miami would like on this roster

Yeah, you say that every time.

Not what has happened at all.

Skills over strength.

How it should have always been

I don't really see that being the case

Interesting excerpt:

Many rule changes have occurred since the inception of professional basketball that has altered the game to what we now recognize today. These rule changes did not occur all at once but instead evolved to suit the changing style of play. Starting with the widening of the free-throw lane in 1951 and a further extension in 1964, this change was made to reduce the dominant impact of centers who played with their back facing the basket - otherwise known as Post Position. Then in 1954, the 24-second shot clock was introduced. This was done to increase the speed of the game, by forcing the team with the basketball to shoot the ball before the 24-second timer is up. Finally, the NBA introduced the three-point line, in the 1979–1980 season. This was done to spread out the players, which were predominantly playing underneath the basket at this time as well as add a further degree of difficulty to the game.[38]

Of course it isn’t.

It is just something Q has made up to support his narrative.

Being tall has always been, and will always be an advantage.
Another excerpt:

The style of basketball has evolved over time as well. Basketball, especially in the 1990s and 2000s, used to give importance to big men. Now, because of teams like the San Antonio Spurs and the Golden State Warriors, ball movement and team play is more common. The pace of play has also increased.[45] In recent years, players such as Stephen Curry have increased the prevalence of the three-point shot in the professional game.

should be interesting.

I think Cleveland will roll pretty easily - but not exactly thrilled about the long layoff and not having a clue who we were going to face until just yesterday. I just hope Mitchell is recovered from the ankle.

Cavs need to improve as the post season goes on if they have a chance to make the finals. I dont expect it to be pretty all the time but they are gonna have to build up to Boston (if they get there which i think is likely but certainly not assured).

You think the lakers ever 3 peat with a rolled ankle from Shaq or kobe?

It’s any star from any era
Depends, if your achilles pops like KD yeah that kills you. But if you miss a few games in an early round and you have a stacked team maybe not.

Game 1 is a little dangerous- Mitchell has not played in over 2 weeks - now CAvs do have the rest and Miami just played 2 games. Just hope the talent carries them. Id rather have played the Hawks tbh--- Herro's size is a little bit of a tough matchup- and Bam and Mobley kind of cancel eachother out. Garland needs to cook. Allen needs to show that his past soft playoff performances are behind him.

Overall I think the Cavs talent advantage is substantial in this series- and the Cavs bench depth is an advantage.

I am guessing Hunter comes off the bench...

having Hunter, Ty Jerome, Okoro, Wade, off the bench makes for maybe the best bench in the league or close to it.

i honestly wouldnt even mind seeing some of TT and Green in this series- some experience and toughness. I think they could contribute.

Thompson had 20 rebounds the other night- guy keeps getting checks.

The Lakers have conceded. Wolves win Game 1. Lakes had a horrible Second Quarter. Nobody scored except Doncic. They just didn't prepare well enough for this game. Onward to Game 2 on Tuesday.
