I am not a hockey fan at all. Used to follow it as a kid.

And I know I am in the minority here. But they should take fighting out of hockey too. Just doesn’t have a place in modern society. Such a terrible example to set for kids solving problems that way.

Good Lord.. should expect nothin less from a coach who teaches “floppin for foul”that’s catchy, you should write a pocket book on it!




Fighting in Hockey, which is expected, when a team is down by at least 2 goals early, is a motivator to get their team back in game and is usually discussed and agreed upon by the 2 players …

Fans love it and rarely does a player get hurt


What’s terrible is the punishment for it!

Every other major sport has changed rules to get with the times.

Old school people hated when baseball really cracked down on pitchers throwing at guys. It was part of the game after all. I would bet that you hated that.

But just because things have always be done a certain way doesn’t mean they should continue to be. Every other sport has evolved.

Hockey is in the stone ages on this one.

I know people won’t agree because they like to watch fights. Want to see a fight? Watch boxing or MMA.

Maybe a little too much. Agree we cant have the game played like it was in the 90s but hockey guys throw gloves and we all cheer. Funny how the sport dominated by black dudes gets the negative press but hockey gets lauded every time a big fight happens

Fighting has always been a big part of hockey.

It was only part of basketball in the '90's.

How the hell has baseball cracked down on throwin at players heads? WTF planet u on? Have you looked at BA’s last couple of few years? Why do they even need to do it ?

Hockey is the only remaining sport that resembles the way it used to be, and why? Cause there isn’t the same money that’s in other major sports… guys get cut, leave ice to get stitched up and back on ice!!! NBA NFL MLB ???? lol out at least 2 weeks for a stitch.

Most of the elite athletes are playing football etc and even MMA now. The glory of boxing died with their PPV greed and 9000 belts. No one here is seeing Usyk fight because its on at 4 in the morning because the fight is in Saudi Arabia
