I’m not the one exaggerating man.

Please point to 1 claim I made here that was an exaggeration.

Because you clearly have a bias against LeBron.

The man is a tank. He is Jordan’s explosive athleticism, with Magic’s skill set in Karl Malone’s body.

If you don’t think that plays in the 90s I don’t know what to tell you.

There is nothing soft about LeBron or the way the plays.

People just like to make fun of him because he has poor flopping skills and he whines to the refs when he doesn’t get a call to go his way (like most other stars in the current era also do).

“LeBron already has everything he needs to be the best player in the most physical era.”

For Jordan, you are projecting that he would get something he never had.

Exaggeration 1

Exaggeration 1

What part of that is an exaggeration?

Karl Malone: 6’9” 250 LB
LeBron James: 6’9” 250 LB

Absolutely compares to Magic Johnson in terms of his skill set. Magic is a better passer/playmaker, LeBron is a better scorer. But the skill set is similar.

And he is (was at least in his prime) one of the most explosive athletes who has ever played the game.

He is arguably the greatest physical specimen the league has ever seen and as I claimed, the rules of the 90s catered toward physicality.

Anyone saying he isn’t equipped to play in a more physical era is not using logic.

Quote the post where anyone said that MJ couldn't have been a great 3 point shooter.

Exactly….

As I claimed, it is the person saying Jordan “would have been one of the best 3 point shooters” who is exaggerating.

Not impossible, but certainly not something anyone should be claiming given his actual skill set.

I read @tlance 's comment and this is what I took from.

MJ was a career 32.7% shooter from downtown. He averaged 0.5 makes and 1.7 attempts.

So when tlance said the 3 wasn't in MJ's "skill set" he was spot-on.

And I even said it is absolutely fair to assume that he would be considerably better shooting the 3 if he played today.

Not fair to assume he would have been one of the best 3 point shooters.

Yea, for sure MJ would have been above avg at 3...

Bird is one I'd think would be Ray Allen/Steph esque in this era.

Larry Legend would been scary good in today's game.

The 3 point line was father back when he played if I remember correctly.

And he shot at least 40% from downtown 6x. But it was on limited attempts.

It wasn’t further back

But it also wasn’t a shot offenses game planned to utilize. It was a situational afterthought.

It appears we have a new Shai and Chet commercial and they added Jdub to the mix. I’m sure everyone will love it.
